This October, the Coral Gables Museum is celebrating its 10th anniversary. We are very proud to have reached this major milestone, and despite the challenges of 2020, we are looking forward to another bright and busy decade. This celebration is a small way of not only saying Thank You to our patrons and supporters but also a toast in unison to the bright future that lies ahead for the Coral Gables Museum as we continue to enhance our exhibitions and programs. The best is yet to come!
Join us on October 30th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in our Loggia for a small celebratory gathering. In following the CDC guidelines from COVID-19, please RSVP prior to the event and remember to wear a mask.
On this occasion, we will also be announcing the Grand Prize winner of our raffle of an amazing BSwanky Sophie Ruby Eel Python handbag, made of Everglades python and ostrich-embossed leather, valued at $2,200. The raffle announcement will be at 5:30 PM. The winners for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place will receive a framed Miami Herald front page of their choice from our exhibition, Headlines! Unfolding 117 Years of History with the Miami Herald.

The Sophie Ruby Eel Python bag was kindly donated by local luxury design house BSWANKY.
Owned by a woman, and with an atelier in Sarasota, Florida, BSWANKY has been honored for creating a groundbreaking workplace culture. Their iconic accessories are made of Burmese pythons sourced from the Everglades and are instrumental in helping restore the balance of the local ecosystem.
