You are Here: Introspective is a student-led, curated selection of video art that further expands on the site-specific installation You Are Here, projected onto the west-facing wall of the Coral Gables Museum as part of the city-wide exhibition Illuminate Coral Gables. In a combination of nature, art, and AI-technology, the sounds and images in the videos conjure associations to historical events of ecological and geological nature. They serve as a foundation from which to understand the past, present, and future, not only of the Coral Gables Museum site but of the entire South Florida area.
